Sentinel vs Vandal

Sentinel
Tawzalt is scanning the garden, alert for intruders while I am having a wee dram of the Bowmore 12 on the porch. She is very distrustful of the staff in the neighboring apartment building who enjoy watching us over our garden wall during shift changes. In the background you can just make out our actual night guard in the little guard house.
Vandals
When not keeping an eye on the neighborhood, nighttime is a good time for group hole-digging. Zel gets the hole started while Tawzalt inspects his work.
They follow this up whith a high-speed chase game and wrestling match which my phone has no chance of photographing in the pitch black.

Zero
I awakened with too many mammals in our bed. Cassandra was curled up with Azelouan and Tawzalt was apparently displaced so that she decided to flop down on my face which was a minor obstacle in the way of the pillow.
Zoom
Tawzalt is having a game of chase with Zel in our garden in Ghana. She is careening around a stand of bamboo. Zel is faster than Tawzalt on a straightaway but when she is in the mood to run she is very fast and can turn in any direction in one stride. She can also keep going and going and going—I think because she is so light.

Peek around
August 4, 2011
Tawzalt is peeking around behind Azelouan. They are hoping that I have something to feed them.
The dogs are reluctant to cross the threshold into the kitchen ever since Tawzalt knocked a broom over causing a huge ruckus. Overall, it’s an advantageous situation because it greatly limits their counter surfing opportunities.

False Pregnancy
November 2, 2010
Tawzalt’s due date has come and gone without any puppy arrivals. We had plenty of pregnant behaviors and secondary signs but, unfortunately, there were no puppies in there. Thanks to everyone who expressed interest.
Stay tuned for next year. We will try again.

Azelouan Enjoys and Afternoon Out
October 5, 2009
Tawzalt is in season and is at her peak of receptivity. It is tough for Zel to remain chaste and they are both wound a little tight. We took took the girls for a picnic and to get some new clothes for fall and brought Zel along and left Tawzalt to rest at home.
Zel was very happy to get some time out in the country side.
